This beautiful fused and sagged glass sushi dish or soap dish is made from two separate layers of glass.  The top layer is a deep red glass topped with a white snowflake.  The bottom layer of glass is clear with black and white frits and white streamers.

This sushi dish measures approximately 4.5 inches square.  Three separate 8-hour firings - one to create the snowflake, one to fuse the glass layers and snowflake together, and a third to slump the dish - all included careful annealing stages to ensure the finest quality.

This is a one-of-a-kind item; a little piece of table art, never mass-produced, made in the USA.
