Sandhill Crane Pendant J-PMC5 - $50.00 Our silver sandhill crane pendants are 99.99% pure silver - more pure than sterling! Each pendant is individually handcrafted, so no two will be exactly alike. Our pendant depicts a crane by a flowing river and is a favorite image at Glassy Lady. Each spring, sandhill cranes by the thousands (and the occasional whooping crane) arrive from Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico and stop for several weeks on the banks of the Platt River just west of Grand Island to gather strength for their journey north to summer in Canada. The cranes' favorite feeding grounds extend from our location in west central Nebraska to about 90 minutes east, near Grand Island. The image on our pendant is reminiscent of the Platte River and its yearly visitors of the crane variety and is a great jewelery item for crane lovers. It's also a great souvenir if you've traveled to Nebraska to see the sandhill cranes. Please
note the dimensions of this large silver sandhill crane pendant:
1-1/2 inches wide by 1-5/8" high excluding the bale.
