Turtles enjoy popularity in many cultures - from Native American to Far Eastern - and have come to symbolize longevity, patience, Mother Earth, heaven, and truth, to name few.  The turtle is tied to Native American creation stories and is also considered a protector of women.  As the turtle carries its home on its back, it reminds us to be at home in the world.

Our turtle petroglyph design is etched into deep blue dichroic glass and fired on black glass.  The pendant measures 1" square.  A black adjustable waxed cord is included.
