A musician by training, complete with a master's degree, Deborah worked for many years in the church music field as a performer, teacher, and music director.  While seeking other avenues and outlets for her creative energies, she was introduced to and trained in various stained glass techniques.  This eventually led to the creation of Glassy Lady in 1998. Her passion for glass became her full-time occupation, but her training in church music and continued part-time involvement naturally influenced her stained glass art in the form of framed Bible verses.  With her years of experience playing for numerous weddings in various churches and settings, she was uniquely qualified to compile a useful list of wedding Bible verses for couples planning their big day.  Many of these verses, as well as wedding invitations, can be custom framed in stained glass.
